Kate and William's Royal Wedding Gossip

The Wedding has gone off without a hitch! Kate is now HRH (Her Royal Highness).

Some Wedding Surprises:

• Kate was stunning in an Alexander Mcqueen Dress, designed by Sarah Burton.
• Kate was rivaled by her Bridesmaid younger sister Pippa Middleton 27, who wore a body hugging white dress. US magazine is already reporting Pippa as: "Hottest Bridesmaid Ever!"
• William could barely squeeze the ring on Kate's finger.
• The couple kissed twice on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
• Kate seemed extremely poised and calm. (My hands would have been shaking)

Will Kate and William’s Royal Marriage Last?

Only time will tell. But there is reason to be optimistic. At 28, Kate Middleton is much older than Diana was when she wed Prince Charles at only 20. Kate is an old bride by Royal standards. Kate also has already had practice dealing with the media.

Prince William and Kate have dated on and off for years, so they know of each other’s quirks and flaws. Unlike Diana and Charles who only had a few dates before the married. And from all appearances they genuinely seem to adore and love each other. Even so Prince William admits he is nervous and his knees were "Knocking together" during a rehearsal, due to the thought of the world watching the event so closely.

Prince William and Kate Middleton split up for several months in 2007. The two were brought together after going to the party of mutual friend Sam Waley-Cohen at his wealthy family's mansion. They talked intently at the party, and must have resolved their problems because soon after they were seen vacationing together.

The royal family is said to approve of Middleton, the daughter of self-made millionaires.The Queen apparently approves of "Kate". The queen prefers to address her by her full name "Catherine".

Since Kate's parents are self made millionares and have no doubt instilled the value of hardwork in Kate. Her father worked for an airline and her mother was a flight attendant before the family started a mail order business specializing in children's parties

The wedding itself will be a media circus. Plenty of celebrity guest will be invited, friends and family, and even Kate and William's Ex loves. A sampling of the guest list:

• Kate Middleton's ex-boyfriend Rupert Finch and William's Ex-Jecca Craig, are both on the list.

The wedding will take place on April 29^th, 2011 at Westminster Abbey. Kate will have the eyes of the world on her. Every bride-to-be feels the pressure to look her best on her wedding day, but for Kate there will be millions of eyes; and cameras on her.

Gossip flying before the wedding…

• Will Kate Obey William? Kate Middletonwill not vow to "obey"Prince Williamwhen the couple says "I do". But she will promise to "love, comfort, honor and keep" her husband. LikePrincess Diana's she chose to modernize the verbiage. William's late mother omitted the word when she marriedPrince Charlesin 1981, at the time this was a controversial move
• Is Kate Signing a Prenup? It is not clear whether the couple will be signing a prenuptial agreement. But if Prince William doesn't insist on one he would be foolish. The Royal fortune is at stake, and the royals track record with successful marriages is not good.
• Is William losing his hair…? Yes. Some are surprised by the Prince's hair loss because he is only 28-years-old, and his bald spot has been spreading as his hairline recedes. Unfortunately, it prematurely ages the young Prince.
• Is Kate pretty enough? I say, yes. Kate is very attractive. But critics speculate William must really love her because with his choice of any number of gorgeous women and he picked Kate. Some Critics find Kate “pretty” but not exceptionally beautiful.
• How will Kate look,too thin or not thin enough? The already slender Kate is allegedly following the “Dukan Diet”, which is supposed to be the French version of the Atkins Diet.
• What Wedding Dress will she wear? That secret has successfully remained under wraps so far. Kate hasn't even announced who the gown's designer is. It no doubt won’t resemble Diana’s puffy frilly gown that was in style at the time of the Charles and Diana’s wedding. The gown must be modest, no cleavage, not too sexy...

After the Honeymoon...

One shudders to think of the public scrutiny the couple will be under after the wedding, especially Kate.

Kate’s fashion choices, physical appearance, and personal life will be under the microscope. Kate no doubt will be compared to Diana. Kate will be obligated to live up to the royal standards, and must be equipped to handle the media in stride.

William’s mother Diana certainly had a hard time with losing her privacy. Diana was stalked by the media right up until her tragic death. Diana pleaded with the media to not hound Harry and William when they were young boys. The Media ignored these pleas.

Imagine when William and Kate have children what targets they will be for the media. The couple will probably have children fairly soon since they are both nearing the 30 year mark.

Some things will not be possible for the Royal Couple like having a private night out with friends, or wearing a bikini or bathing suit without being photographed and splashed on tabloids.

Kate will live a life of privilege many girls envy.

But she will no longer have the same freedom, because a life of royalty comes with responsibility. William has dealt with this his entire life. But it will take some for Kate to go from regular to royal.
